Former Taipei City Councilor Lee, Ren Ren who, on March 31 was pointed to have handled a case coordination of an illegal construction on 4F., No.201, Xining S. Rd., Wanhua Dist., Taipei City on April 6, 2001. This construction is now used by Concentric Patriotism Association of R.O.C.; Taipei City Construction Management Office hereby clarifies to have never accepted and participated in the coordination. Construction Management Office further explains on Jan. 29,2001 a case was filed for an illegal construction on 4F., No.201, Xining S. Rd., Wanhua Dist., Taipei City. At that time, former Taipei City Councilor Lee, Ren Ren accepted citizens’s petition and sent a mail to Construction Management Office expressing her wish to hold a coordination meeting on April 6 of the same year. At the time when the meeting was formulated, it had passed case coordination deadline set by Taipei City Council. Therefore, Taipei City Construction Management Office canceled the meeting, and has never received further applications to re-open coordination meetings. Media has reported differently from actual occurrence. Hence this special clarification is issued.
