I. Since Oct.1st,the Taipei City Government has activated the “Architects’ Overlay Mapping Service Platform” for integrating urban planning and Building Technical Regulations into land and building registration data to promote building site planning, designs and applications toward the era of paperless operations.II. According to Director Chang Kang-Wei of the Taipei City Construction Management Office, the Taipei City Government initiated the “Enquiry Service Platform for Building Permit Application Controls” for architects’ on-line searching for the mapping and text info related to the regulations of Building Permit Applications. The innovative concept of “Enterprise Resource Planning, ERP” has also been applied to establish a one-stop service window based on the development structure of Supply Chain Service (SCS). This provided more effective and sufficient references for architects’ collections of urban planning and Building Technical Regulations related to Building Permit Application Controls.III.The Construction Management Office furthermore indicated that the platform would provide the e-drawings of building permits in some registered lands, as well as the add-on tools and methods of overlay mapping and the mechanism for on-line submissions of design drawings, providing speedy and convenient e-operational design environment and enhancement of design quality and administration efficiency.
