Taipei Broadcasting Station (TBS) will host its highly anticipated year-end music event, “Towards 2026: Happiness Party,” on December 7 at Zhongshan Hall in Taipei City. This year’s concert is presented through the eyes of music creators, inviting a star-studded lineup including vocal diva Christine Hsu, poetic songwriter Joseph Yeh, creative singer-songwriter May Tai, Golden Melody Award duo The Southern Duet, and folk music icon Ji-Zhen Luo. Together, they will lead audiences back to the unforgettable memories of Taiwan’s folk-song era. Through radio drama segments and DJ-led storytelling, the event will explore the emotional journeys and cultural context behind each melody, offering listeners a closer look at the songs’ creative processes and the spirit of the times.

“Towards 2026: Happiness Party” will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on December 7, and a ticket is required. Tickets will be available for free starting at 10:00 a.m. on November 28 via the KKTIX online platform. On the same day, in-person ticket collection will also be available at Taipei Zhongshan Hall. Each person may claim up to two tickets. Seating is limited and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

“The ‘Happiness Party’ is one of our station’s most important annual events,” said TBS Director Shao-Chien Hu. “It is not only a highly anticipated music celebration, but also a valuable opportunity for the station to connect with its listeners. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Taiwanese Folk Song movement. Through carefully curated content and a remarkable lineup of performers, we hope to bring joy and warmth to citizens at the close of the year, and welcome a brand-new beginning together.”

The concert will also be livestreamed on the “TBS 931” YouTube channel. Citizens who are unable to attend in person are invited to join online and embark on this nostalgic musical journey through beloved folk songs.
