The Department of Finance (DOF) of the Taipei City Government (TCG) achieved outstanding results in 2025 of lease bidding and is now offering 41 residential units near Zhongshan MRT Station for lease. Bidders of property leasing and management industry are sincerely welcomed.
To effectively activate city-owned assets and enhance their utilization, on September 1, 2025,the TCG DOF has announced a public tender for the lease of 30 pieces of city-owned real estate and 35 parking space located in 4th Floor, No. 22, Lane 44, Section 2, Zhongshan North Road, Zhongshan District (Zhongshan Liren Community),Taipei City; and 11 pieces of city-owned real estate and 11 parking space located in 7th Floor-1, No. 28, Lane 112, Section 1, Zhongshan North Road, Zhongshan District (Zhongshan Songyue Community) ,Taipei City;—a total of 41 newly returned city-owned properties from two urban renewal projects. The deadline for bid submission is at 11am on September 22,2025 and the bids are scheduled to be opened at 3pm on the same day. The DOF stated that the 30 residential units in Zhongshan (Zhongshan Liren Communi-ty) are located in the heart of the Zhongshan commercial district, right along the first row of the Xinzhongshan Linear Park. They are also close to the Zhongshan Sports Center and Eslite Bookstore’s Zhongshan Underground Book Street, with just a 3-minute walk to Zhongshan MRT Station. These units range from 67 to 86 ping and feature 4-bedroom layouts. Each unit comes with 1 to 2 parking spaces and is fully furnished with complete sets of appliances, al-lowing residents to move in with just one suitcase; The 11 residential units in Zhongshan Songyue Community are near Zhongshan Market and the Museum of Contemporary Art Tai-pei. They are within walking distance to two MRT stations (Zhongshan Station and Taipei Main Station) and two rail systems (Taipei Railway Station and High-Speed Rail Station). These units range from 49 to 51 ping with 3-bedroom layouts, each including one parking space. Both locations feature superior living environments and excellent accessibility to daily amenities, with highly competitive leasing terms. Public interest has been strong, indicating robust market demand and promising leasing prospects. The DOF further explained that in order to actively revitalize city-owned assets and ex-pand the supply of rental housing, they have been proactively conducting lease bidding opera-tions this year. The two communities being offered this time are top choices in the rental mar-ket and should not be missed. If the bidding is successful, The DOF will provide over 200 residential units to the rental market this year, achieving impressive results and effectively increasing housing availability to meet the living needs of Taipei City residents. The DOF reminds that the two communities are listed under different bid numbers and can be bid on separately. Eligible bidders must be domestic companies legally registered under in accordance with the Company Act, with business scope code H706021 (leasing busi-ness with a rental housing service industry registration certificate) included in their registered business activities.
